The painting begins!

Well the painting began after the lawn was mowed...and a few other chores. Gina first vacuumed the attic so we could start storing our winter clothes. We then schlepped boxes up to the attic. Fun.

Gina then continued with cleaning the garage so we could start storing stuff in there.

I got a multi-tool from Sears and started to pull up the linoleum in the second floor bathroom. It appears that   there isn't hard wood under the linoleum, so I stopped working on it. If there were pine floors, we would of had them refinished. We will most likely tile it sometime in the future.

So, I started on scraping the window sills. The multitool did a pretty good job. I first used the scrape and then the sander. After a good vacuum, I prepared a bedroom for painting. We got the ceiling, walls and started to paint the closets. We are using True Value paint. Seem pretty good. We used Kiltz ceiling paint that covered really well. Both are low VOCs

nothing like eating hotdogs and beans in the driveway.
